Series: The Journey of Discipleship: From Surrender to Eternity

Dear Trinity Family & Friends,

We are moving into the third exciting step of our sermon series, “The Journey of Discipleship: From Surrender to Eternity.” This journey is all about what it truly means to follow Jesus every single day. We started by learning to surrender our whole lives to Him. Then, we discovered that this new life has a beautiful mission: to seek out those who are lost. Now, this week, we face a very practical question: What does this look like from Monday to Saturday? How do we handle the life, time, and resources God gives us for this mission?

This Sunday, September 28th, join us as we explore step three: “The Stewardship of Discipleship is Faithful Living.” Together, we'll turn to a fascinating story Jesus tells in Luke 16:1-13. It’s a story that gets right to the heart of how we manage what God has placed in our hands. We'll learn that being a faithful disciple is a lot like building something amazing with the pieces we've been given; it’s about using the right tools for the right purpose, following God's loving instructions. The big idea is that God trusts us with small things first, and our faithfulness in those everyday moments is the training ground for everything else.

So, we warmly invite you, your family members, and your friends to join our worship this Sixteenth Sunday after Pentecost! Come just as you are. At Trinity, we are a community that strives to love like Jesus, to grow spiritually together, and to serve God and one another as we all long to become true disciples. This Sunday is a perfect time to connect and take that next step on the journey.

Please note our Sunday morning schedule our Contemporary Service starts at 9:00 am. Then, our Sunday School for Children begins at 9:15 am, and our Youth Group meets at 10:00 am.

We want to wish a very happy birthday and a joyful anniversary to all who are celebrating this week! May your days be filled with joy and blessings.

We can't wait to see you this Sunday as we grow together in faithful living.

In Christ’s love, Rev. Mulongo Mpoyo
