Dear Trinity Methodist Church Family,
As April unfolds, I’m reminded of God’s quiet miracles. Though mornings are still chilly, the warming afternoons and blooming tulips reflect the shift from winter to spring—and from the Lenten shadows to Easter’s light. As Psalm 19:1 says, “The heavens declare the glory of God.”
Our Wednesday Lenten services at 7:00 PM continue to offer reflection and renewal:
-
April 2: “Nurturing Spiritual Growth” (Galatians 4:19; 1 Thessalonians 5:22–24)
-
April 9: “Cleansing Our Conscience” (Hebrews 10:22–24)
Palm Sunday, April 13, will feature our Sunday School play “By the Tree,” marking the start of Holy Week.
Join us for:
-
Maundy Thursday, April 17 at 7:00 PM – A service of remembrance and love (John 13:1–17)
-
Good Friday, April 18 at 7:00 PM – A time of prayer and reflection
Then on Easter Sunday, April 20, we’ll joyfully proclaim “Christ is risen!” with the sermon “What Is Your Own Story of Jesus’ Resurrection?” (Luke 24:1–12).
Our Sunday messages throughout April include:
-
April 6: “Worship or Waste?” (John 12:1–8)
-
April 27: “Unlocking Doors of Faith” (John 20:19–31)
To all in our Trinity family—longtime members or newcomers—you are deeply cherished. May this season renew our hearts and overflow with God’s grace, as 1 Thessalonians 3:12 encourages.
Let’s walk through these holy days together, knowing that every blooming flower and gentle breeze proclaims: Our God brings life out of death.
With Easter joy,
Rev. Mulongo Mpoyo
P.S. Who in your life needs to hear the good news? Let’s boldly share the hope: Christ is risen!
